BEER AND WINE ORDERING GUIDE
Understanding quantities - No Need to return document
200- 12 oz cups in a 1/2 barrel (one keg) is equal to 7 cases (of 24 bottles or cans) of beer.
100- 12 oz cups in a 1/4 barrel (1/2 keg) is equal to 3 1/2 cases (of 24 bottles or cans) of beer.
165- 16 oz cups in a 1/2 barrel (one keg).
83- 16 oz cups in a 1/4 barrel.
Bottles of wine are 750 ml. or 25.36 oz.
A typical wine glass pour is 6-8 oz.
Approximately 4-5 glasses per bottle.
12 bottles per case.
Example Guest Count List
If half are beer drinkers: 50 X 5 (12 oz.) beers per person= 1 barrel (2 kegs) and one 1/4 barrel OR 11 cases.
100 people x 5 (12 oz.) beers per person = 2 barrels (4 kegs) and one 1/4 barrel OR 21 cases.
50 wine only drinkers=20 bottles. 100 wine only drinkers=40 bottles.
I suggest a 75%/25% ratio of white wine to red wine, especially in the warmer months.
**Please note if you are offering wine service at the tables you must purchase that wine in addition to this. Please see the table layout for your guest count to know how many bottles are needed for each table.
**Keep in mind some guests will drink more than this recommended amount, this is just a helpful guide.
